Tyrol is a state (also known as a Bundesland) located in the western part of Austria. It includes the Austrian section of the historical Princely County of Tyrol. It is a component of the current Euroregion Tyrol–South Tyrol–Trentino (along with South Tyrol and Trentino in Italy). The capital city of Tyrol is Innsbruck.
